Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Anonyform handles information. It is a plain-language summary of our practices and is not legal advice. Anonyform is a form builder designed to collect responses privately.

What respondents share

People who fill out a form share only the answers the form asks for. Respondents do not need an account to submit a form, and their submissions are never listed publicly. The workspace that owns a form decides what that form asks and how long responses are kept.

What we do not collect on submissions

When someone submits a form, Anonyform does not record their IP address, browser fingerprint, or precise location. We collect only the response data and the minimal technical information needed to operate the service and to defend against abuse.

• No advertising or cross-site tracking.

Cookies

Anonyform uses cookies for two purposes. Signed-in operators receive an authentication cookie so they stay logged in. Where a workspace protects a form behind an access step, respondents receive a short-lived signed cookie that records only that they passed the access step. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

Email

Anonyform sends email for account and workspace activity, such as invitations and notifications. A respondent receives email only when a form collects an email address and the workspace chooses to send a confirmation or update. We do not sell email addresses or use them for advertising.

Where your data lives

Each workspace is isolated from the others. Access to a workspace requires a valid, verified account with membership in that workspace, and one tenant cannot read another tenant data. Operators access response data through their workspace using role-based permissions.

Uploads

File uploads on responses are turned off by default and enabled only when a form is configured to accept them. Uploaded files are stored privately and are reachable only through short-lived, authorized links.

Retention and deletion

Retention is configurable per form. When a submission, form, or workspace is deleted, Anonyform removes or schedules removal of the associated response data and uploads, while keeping a minimal record that the deletion occurred.

Your choices

Workspace owners control their forms, responses, and retention settings, and can delete data they own. If you are a respondent and want a submission removed, contact the workspace that published the form, or reach us and we will help route your request.
